Ms. Shirley Lee Stewart, age 67, departed her Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.
She was born on November 15, 1957 to the late Thomas Wesley Stewart and the late Sallie Bell Drumwright Stewart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sheryl Bowe; sister Julia Stewart; and brothers Joseph Stewart and Ralph Stewart.
Ms. Shirley Lee Stewart leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Latoya Lugo (Hugo) of Durham, North Carolina and Charmaine Stewart of Semora, North Carolina; brothers: James Stewart of Durham, North Carolina and Bernard Stewart (Deborah) of Sanford, Florida; nephew Adrian Stewart of Roxboro, North Carolina; numerous loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; a host of additional relatives and friends; and her cherished fur babies: Pedro, Donelle and Gizmo.
