Mr. Floyd Poole, Jr., age 86, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Monday, December 1, 2025 at his residence in Whiteville, North Carolina. He was a native of Roxboro, North Carolina, born to the union of Floyd Poole, Sr. and Georgianna Banks Poole.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary Elizabeth Poole, Australia Poole, George Thomas Poole, Willie James “Jimmy” Poole, Brenda Carolyn Poole Moses and Eula Mae Poole Street.
Mr. Floyd Poole, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his children: daughter - Patricia Cunningham (Harding) of Semora, North Carolina; and sons - Loyd Poole (Sophia) and Clyde Poole, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; grandchildren: Patrice Cunningham and Shenet Cunningham, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; Shenikwa Poole of Roxboro, North Carolina; Charita Poole of Roxboro, North Carolina; Bryan Poole of Morrisville, North Carolina; Kimberly Wilkerson; Jessica Bazan; Jacinta Poole; and Clyde "CJ" Poole, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Mekaya Crawley and Jaylah Poole, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; Carter, Cameron and Cali Poole, all of Morrisville, North Carolina; Troy, Tia and Taylor Wilkerson; and Keyshawn and Kaylee Poole; siblings: Hattie Johnson-Sumpter (James) of Queens, New York; Robert Poole of Durham, North Carolina and Vestal Poole (Christa) of Whiteville, North Carolina; and a host of additional loving relatives and friends.
