Mr. William Lee Dargan, age 84, departed his Earthly life and entered Eternal Rest on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. He was born in Alcolu, South Carolina on February 6, 1941.
During his lifetime, he resided and worked as an aircraft engineer in Connecticut. Prior to his passing, Mr. Dargan was a resident of Roxboro, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Louise Dargan; son Phil Dargan; brothers: James Dargan and Samuel Dargan; and sister Shirley Dargan.
Mr. William Lee Dargan leaves to cherish his memory his wife Glenda Jones of the home; daughters: Vanessa Taylor Diamond (husband David) of Brooklyn, New York; and Yolanda “Neicy” Johnson Wilson (husband Willis) of Midland, Georgia; sons: Gerod Jones and Roy Jones, both of Bridgeport, Connecticut; eight grandchildren: Christina Diamond ( Robert Hanson ) and Nettia Diamond (Winston Banton), Robert Diamond, and Kendra Wilson, Taron Jones, Nazair Jones, Anastasia Wilson and Philippes Dargan Jr; four great-grandchildren: Jayden Banton, Maya Banton, Deborah Hanson and Diamond Naveah Wilson; sisters-in-law: Meriam Jones, Estella Jones, Barbara Void and Tyler Jones; brother-in-law Kenny Jones; extended family: Walter and Vernitta Day of Roxboro, North Carolina, Horace and Queen Curran and Ethel Goodwin, all of Bridgeport, Connecticut; Goddaughters: Erika Goodwin, Deaja Goodwin and Nino Goodwin; Godson Bryan Goodwin; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
