Mr. Edgar Matthew Clayton, age 57, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, North Carolina.
Edgar was born in Durham County on March 26, 1968 to the late Leroy “Moochie” Clayton, Sr. and the late Bertha Fuller Clayton.
He received his education in the Person County Public Schools System. He made his home in Mebane, North Carolina.
Edgar was an entrepreneur - owning a Detailing Service. He was also skilled in landscaping, carpentry and maintenance services.
Mr. Edgar Matthew Clayton leaves to cherish his memory his wife Anzelette Suitt of the home; one sister Brenda Clayton of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother Leroy Clayton, Jr. of Hillsborough, North Carolina; two aunts: Joan Jennings (James) of Hillsborough North Carolina and Yvonne Scoggins of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; six nieces: Melyanna Clayton, Olivia Clayton, Quakeisha Clayton, Dajuah Clayton, Wynita Clayton and Special Niece Tyvisa Clayton; two nephews: Cheyenne Clayton and Terrance Clayton; a host of great nieces; and numerous loving extended family and friends who Loved Him Dearly.
