Ms. Shirley Mae Hamlett, age 81, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Roxboro, North Carolina.
She was a born in Person County, North Carolina on November 11, 1944 to the union of the late Henry Hamlett and the late Freddie Lee Harris Hamlett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Alice Law, Earl Hamlett and Willie Clarence “W.C.” Stewart.
Ms. Shirley Mae Hamlett leaves to cherish her memory her sister Edna Royster (husband David); and a host of loving nieces, nephews additional relatives and friends.
