Mr. Ronald Everette Thomas, Sr., age 84, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina.
He was born in Alamance County on February 19, 1941 to the late Harry Clay Thomas and the late Florence Parker Thomas.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his brother Harry Clay Thomas, Jr. (Clara); three sons: Keith Thomas, Clifton A. Brown and Ricky Brown; and a grandson Jordan Thomas.
Mr. Ronald Everette Thomas, Sr. is survived by his loving wife Sadie Brown Thomas of Roxboro; one beloved daughter: Ronnetta Gattis (Bernard) of Roxboro; five devoted sons: Ronald Thomas, Jr. (Jodi) of Roxboro; Sterling Thomas (Annie) of Springfield, Virginia; Tony Thomas (Terrie) of Atlanta, Georgia; James B. Brown (Andrea) of Woodbridge, Virginia; and Larry D. Brown (Sharla) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; nineteen beloved grandchildren: LeRon Thomas, Whitney Thomas, Keith Thomas, Jr., Victoria Thomas, Taylore Thomas, Antonio Thomas, Kristen Oliver McCoy, Julian Thomas, Jamerson Gattis (Jessica), Justice Hines (Blake), Brittany Gattis, Latoya Brown, Cliff Brown III (Taria), Yasmeen Brown, Rickelle Hatley (Bernard), Jeremy Brown, Darius Brown, Larry Brown II and Blake Brown (Dominique); twenty-three great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
