Mrs. Olivia Plenty Booker, age 89, departed her Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Monday, October 20, 2025 at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, New York.
She was born in Roxboro, North Carolina on June 21, 1936 to the union of the late Addie M. Hester and the late Joseph A. Plenty.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Booker; and sisters: Mary P. Cokley and Gladys D. Hayes.
Mrs. Olivia P. Booker leaves to cherish her memory her sisters: Annie P. Elliott of Roxboro, North Carolina and Eloise P. Wethers of Albany, New York; nieces: Bertia Cokley and Denise DeLapp both of Garner, North Carolina; Sheliah Gray (Lex) of Lithia Springs, Georgia; Sharon Elliott of Durham, North Carolina; and Saundra Hatchett of Roxboro, North Carolina; nephews: Michael Elliott of Roxboro, North Carolina and Vincent Carrington (Jean) of Albany, New York; and a host of loved ones and friends.
