Mr. Jimmie Ferrell Cromartie, age 76, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina.
He was born in Whiteville, North Carolina on October 14, 1948 to the late Dewitt Cromartie and the late Gracie Pittman Cromartie. He made his home in Roxboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother James Cromartie; brothers: Sidney and Felix Cromartie; and sister Rena Mae Cromartie.
Mr. Jimmie Ferrell Cromartie leaves to cherish his memory his wife Beverly Sue Johnson Cromartie of the home; son Jimmie Cromartie, Jr. of Roxboro; daughter Chiquita Stallworth of Virginia; grandchildren: Tiara Tuck (Christopher) and Brooklyn Griffin, both of Roxboro; great-grandchild Arianna Tuck; brother Pastor Dexter Cromartie (Wanda) of Connecticut; sisters: Thelma Blanks, Diana Cromartie and Frances Green, all of Whiteville; Sandra Campbell of Bladenboro, North Carolina and Abigail Pittman of Evergreen, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
