​Mrs. Thelma Clayton Harris, age 90, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at her residence. She was a native of Person County, North Carolina but made her home in South Boston, Virginia.

  
Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents George Washington Clayton and Lavenza Lawson Clayton; her husband Leroy Harris; a daughter in her youth; and her siblings.

Mrs. Thelma Clayton Harris leaves to cherish her memory her special friend and caregiver, who was like a sister to her, Evaline Jennings of South Boston, Virginia; and numerous extended family and friends.
