Mr. James Forrester “Buck” Cousin, age 57, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest while surrounded by his family on Friday, June 12, 2026 at his residence in Roxboro, North Carolina.
James was a native of Roxboro, born on August 16, 1968. He graduated from Person Senior High School and was a proud member of the “Class of 1987”.
James was preceded in death by his wife Drucilla Cousin; father James Edward Cousin; and sister Cynthia Cousin.
Mr. James Forrester “Buck” Cousin leaves to cherish his memory his mother Sudie Robertson Cousin of the home; children: Jameelah Becton (Carlton) of Graham, North Carolina and Jaimee Cousin of Mebane, North Carolina; stepchildren: Melvin Allen, James Allen and Valencia Richardson, all of Roxboro, North Carolina; sisters: Deborah Cousin of Durham, North Carolina; Robyn Pointer (Shawn) of Alton, Virginia; and Inetha Cousin of Morrisville, North Carolina; brother Kim Cousin of Roxboro, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; aunts: Bessie Paylor of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; Sally Nash of Burlington, North Carolina; and Patsy McNair of Knightdale, North Carolina; uncle Ronald Pettiford (Lisa) of Roxboro, North Carolina; great-aunt Margie Moore of Creedmoor, North Carolina; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
