Mr. Curtis Wayne Graves, age 70, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Monday, August 24, 2026 at his residence in Roxboro, North Carolina. He was a native of Person County, born on March 13, 1956 to the union of the late Charlie M. Graves and the late Vernell Hamlett Graves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles Graves, James “Jimmy” Graves, Larry Graves and Reginald “Red” Graves; and sister Debra Graves Harrison.
Mr. Curtis Wayne Graves leaves to cherish his memory his brothers: Jerry Graves and Kennard Graves, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; sisters: Nannie Bradsher (husband William) of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; Joyce Graves Johnson (husband Marshall) of Roxboro, North Carolina; Erie Jean Farrish of Roxboro, North Carolina; and Gail Sowell of Florida; uncle Arthur Graves of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; aunts: Dorothy Talley and Yvonne Graves, both of Laurel, Maryland; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
