Mr. Richard Panky Woody, age 101, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Roxboro, North Carolina. He was a native of Person County, born on September 13, 1924.
Mr. Woody was preceded in death by his parents Robert Woody and Ethel King Woody; and his thirteen siblings: Rivers, Avannah, Daisy, Preston, Gladys, Clayborn, William, Mark, Matthew, Frank, Robert, John and Manley.
Mr. Richard Panky Woody leaves to cherish his memory his special nieces Corrine Woody of Roxboro, North Carolina and Carolyn Woody Yates of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, loving relatives and friends.
