Ms. Corrine Woody, age 75, departed her Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Friday, May 22, 2026. She was a native of Person County – born on March 15, 1951. Corrine was a proud member of Person County High School, “Class of 1969”.
Corrine was preceded in death by her parents Mark and Henrietta Villines Woody; and sisters Ethel Robinson and Mary Woody.
Ms. Corrine Woody leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Shaniqua Wade (husband J.R.) and granddaughter Ryann Wade, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers: Marcus Woody, Jr. or New York; Roy Woody of Texas; and Terry Woody of Roxboro, North Carolina; sisters: Gertrude Woody of Greensboro, North Carolina; and Carolyn Woody Yates of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; special nephew/son: Mandrille Tucker of Roxboro, North Carolina; special friend of the family Candiss Jeffers of Roxboro, North Carolina; Person County High School, “Class of 69” classmates; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
