Mr. Donald William Pokusa, age 69, departed his Earthly life on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at his residence in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina.
Donald was born in Newark, New Jersey to the union of the late Robert William Pokusa and the late Margaret Lorraine Wheeler Pokusa.
Donald found success as a ceramic tile installer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman – enjoying many adventures with his children and grandchildren. He was a dedicated fan of the Carolina Panthers Football Team.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Billy Pokusa.
Mr. Donald William Pokusa leaves to cherish his memory his wife of forty-eight years Tammie Pokusa; daughter: Tabitha Woods (husband Randy and children: Trinity and Braylon Woods); son: Drue Pokusa (wife Casey and child Bella Pokusa); and son: Matthew Pokusa (wife Shirah and children Gavin and Michaela Pokusa); brothers: Michael, Dennis, Bryan and Keith Pokusa; sisters: Dawn Haslup and Lori Scott; his fur babies: Mindy and Lilly; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service
in honor of the life of
Mr. Donald William Pokusa
will be held on a later date.
