Mrs. Lillian Josephine Collins, age 82, departed her Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Lillian was born in Person County on May 1, 1944, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Tyler Johnson and the late Vinnie Louise Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Lottie Louise, Walter Tyler, Wilbur Lee and Joseph Bernard.
Mrs. Lillian Josephine Collins leaves to cherish her memory a large and loving family. She is survived by her husband – Fred Collins of the home; three biological children: Senora Golphin (Anthony), Tammy Chestnut and Erika Yates, all of Maryland; three bonus children: Angela Hendrick (James), Lawrence Bell (Candice) and Toyoko Collins, all of Detroit; eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister – Dianna Ckyyou of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional loving relatives and friends.
