Mrs. Donese Carver Bradsher, age 74, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She was a native of Person County, North Carolina – born on January 26, 1949 to the union of the late Oscar Carver and the late Bessie Williams Carver. Mrs. Bradsher was a member of Shady Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Glenda “Gin” Carver and Carolyn Carver; and brother Oscar Carver, Jr.
Mrs. Donese Carver Bradsher leaves to cherish her sweet memory her loving husband James “Booise” Bradsher of the home; three daughters Kim Bradsher, Costswella “Ballie” Bradsher and Camilla “Honey Love” Bradsher, all of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother Ronald Scott (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina; four grandchildren Chante’ Bradsher, Tremari Younger and Anfernee Bailey, all of Roxboro, North Carolina; and Andy Banks, Jr. (wife Michelle) of The Dalles, Oregon; one great-grandchild Cam’Ren Cook; niece Petrina Carver of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; special nieces Vonda “Baby Jane” Moore of Henderson, North Carolina and Tosha Scott of Graham, North Carolina; nephews Fred Carver of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Mark Scott of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Mark Carver, Steve Carver and Antwan Scott, all of Roxboro, North Carolina; special nephew Vaughn Carver of Graham, North Carolina; special great-nephew Daronta Green of Greensboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving great-nieces, great-nephews, additional relatives and friends.
