​Mr. James Arnette “Pete” Wade, age 56, departed this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. He was a native of Person County, born to the union of the late Jessie Louis “Moe” Wade and Laura Link Wade. He was a member of Prospect Hill Baptist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Jessie Louis Wade, Jr.; brother-in-law Ricky Johnson; and nephew Sanford L. Reed, Jr.

Along with his mother, Mr. James Arnette “Pete” Wade leaves to cherish his memory, six sisters: Linda Johnson, Dianne Reed (husband Sylvester), Regina Richardson (husband Archie), Carrie Downey (husband Chester), Sally Wade and Laurie Wade all of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother Cecil Wade of Roxboro, North Carolina; and a great host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, additional relatives and friends.
