Mr. Winford Lamonte “Pig” Torain, age 46, of Roxboro, North Carolina departed his life on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro.
He was born on January 16, 1975 to the union of the late Catherine Torain Street and the late Winford Street.
In addition to his parents, Winford was preceded in death by his great grandparents the late Lonnie and the late Myrtle Bradsher Torain and grandparents the late Jessie and the late Ruby Yarboro Street.Winford is survived by five daughters -- Jacquline Smith, Akeiba Torain, Chy’honesty Hodge -- all of Danville, Virginia; London Smith of Durham, North Carolina; and Katherine Torain of Roxboro, North Carolina; two sisters Kawanda Swanson (husband Ronnie) of Leasburg, North Carolina and Francine Torain (husband Leroy) of Roxboro, North Carolina;; one brother Anther “Tony” Torain of Raleigh, North Carolina; nine aunts, two great aunts and two special aunts; seven uncles; six grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephew, additional relatives and friends.
