Mr. Ruffin Norris “Ruff House” Stanfield, age 62 , entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Duke Regional Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was a native of Roxboro, North Carolina and a graduate of Person Senior High School – Class of 1977.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Brooks Crist and his stepfather Walter McGhee.

Mr. Stanfield is survived by his wife Cheryl Crist Stanfield of Roxboro, North Carolina; three daughters Shanquia Stanfield and Ashely Stanfield of Roxboro and Shanice Sturdivant of Fayetteville, North Carolina; mother Norris Jean Stanfield McGhee of Roxboro; two sisters Abigail Stanfield and Becky Faulkner (husband Donald) of Roxboro; one brother Stacey Stanfield of Mebane, North Carolina; one great-uncle Weldon Stanfield; five aunts Linda Russell, Annie Stanfield, Mickie Stanfield, Janet Crisp and Fannie Crisp (husband Melvin); two grandsons Kanobi Crist and DeAngelo Crist (mom Chasity Moss); one God sister Sherry Brann; two brothers-in-law William Crist and Ray Crist; four special cousins who were like brothers Monzell Hughes, Dexter Hughes, Al Hughes and Gregory Fuller; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
