Ms. Sylvia Ann Ross, 75, of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Durham, North Carolina. She was a native of Person County.

Ms. Sylvia Ann Ross was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Blackwell and Mary Viola Carver Blackwell; one sister Marlese Blackwell; and one brother Ronnie Blackwell.

She is survived by her daughter Erika Renee Ross of Durham, North Carolina; two sons Charles Gabriel Ross of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina and Dana Scott Ross of Burlington, North Carolina; two sisters Carlese Blackwell Vinson (husband Wayne) of Woodland, North Carolina and Celia Mae Blackwell Wilson (husband Randy) of Roxboro, North Carolina; two brothers Tyrone Carver Blackwell (wife Josephine) and Andrew Clifton Blackwell (wife Dorthea) all of Roxboro, North Carolina; one aunt Delores Blackwell Driver of Carrolton, Texas; two grandchildren Delana Ross and Tamia Ross both of Yanceyville, North Carolina; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
