Mr. James Lee McGhee, age 57, was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Maryland. He was born to the union of the late Dallas W. Burton and Queenie McGhee-Woody.

In addition to his father, Mr. McGhee was preceded in death by his son Jordan Solomon; sister Katie McGhee; and grandparents Dallas Burton, Fanny Burton Ulysses Smith and Millie McGhee.

Mr. James Lee McGhee is survived by his companion Shirley Lewis, three daughters; Randchelle Drakeford of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Tayuana McGhee and Breyuana McGhee-Davis (husband Anthony) both of Warner Robins, Georgia; three sisters Deborah Richmond of Danville, Virginia; Sandra Bumphus (husband John) of Roxboro, North Carolina; and Lisa Burton of Burlington, North Carolina; one brother Keith McGhee of New Rochelle, New York; eight grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
