Mr. Bryce Daye Clayton, age 84, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Clayton was a native of Person County, a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church and owner of Clayton Monument Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar Ogola Clayton and Mary Daye Clayton; sister Lorene C. Blackwell; and brothers John O. Clayton and Thomas L. Clayton.
Mr. Bryce Daye Clayton leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years Mary Lee Clayton; son Taurus V. Clayton (Denise) of Roxboro, North Carolina; sisters Annie C. Hedgspeth (Linward) of Rougemont, North Carolina and Everlene C. Turrentine of Durham, North Carolina; brother Harold Clayton (Vaxcine) of Roxboro, North Carolina; sister-in-law Lois Clayton of Rougemont, North Carolina; aunt Sarah Hobgood of Oxford, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
