Mr. Donald Bumphus, also known as “Duck”, age 64, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Carver Rehabilitation and Living Center in Durham, North Carolina. Donald was a native of Person County and a graduate of Person Senior High School, “Class of 1977”.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mark Elbert Bumphus and Bessie Lee Woods Bumphus; and brother Ronald Bumphus.

Mr. Donald Bumphus leaves to cherish his memory his brothers Mark Bumphus-EL (Wilma) and Bernard “Wop” Bumphus (Beverly Fuller), both of Roxboro, North Carolina; aunts Ross Bumphus of Virginia; and Barbara Bumphus and Gladys Scoggins Woods, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; uncle Willie Woods of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, additional relatives and friends.
