On December 8, 2021, the Lord called His child, Mr. Thaddeus Williams, home to be with Him in glory. Mr. Thaddeus Williams was born June 12, 1940, in Roxboro, North Carolina to the late Charlie Robert Williams and the late Hattie Mae Lunsford Williams. Thaddeus attended Person County Public Schools and graduated from Person County High School. He married his sweetheart, Lucy Poole Williams in 1958. Later, he relocated to Washington, D.C. and then to Maryland.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Claudie A. Williams, Sr., Thurman Williams, Ada Mae Williams Poole, and Shirley Jean Williams Jones.

Left to cherish Thaddeus’ memory is his faithful and devoted wife, Lucy Poole Williams; their four children Victoria Williams, Valerie Perry, Vernetta Williams, and Thaddeus A. Williams; two grandsons Patrick Stewart (wife Nyree) and Christopher A. Stewart (wife Jayseree); four great-grandchildren; one sister Tracy Williams-Jones (husband Clinton); two brother-cousins John Williams (wife Sandra) and Charlie Williams (wife Sandy); one uncle Robert Earl Williams (wife Sylvia); one aunt Adele Williams; two sisters-in-love Cleo Smith and Doris Addison; one brother-in-love Charlie Poole, Sr.; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives, and friends.
