Mrs. Yvonne Woody Carver, age 70, of Roxboro, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Woody and Carrie Louise Smith; her husband Harold Ray Carver; and one son Devin Vashone Carver.

Mrs. Yvonne Woody Carver leaves to cherish her memory her son Kevin Carver (wife Dr. Michelle Foster) of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters Lillie Louise Smith (husband Fred) of Durham, North Carolina; Alana Barrett, Rhonda Woody, Michelle Barrett, Debra Pinnix and Donna Barrett all of New Jersey; one brother James Woody, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina; her mother-in-law Glennie Carver of Roxboro, North Carolina; two grandchildren; very special friend who was like a sister, Phyllis Faison Newman (husband Frank) of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving additional relatives and friends.
