​Reverend William Curtis Carter, age 68, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his residence in Roxboro, North Carolina.  

Reverend Carter was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Carter, Sr. and Eunice Jeffress Carter; brother Reverend Herman Carter; sister Aretha Williams; brothers-in law Leroy Cash and Reverend Thomas Scates; sister-in-law Patricia Carter; and two nieces Priscilla Carver and Andrea Carter.
 
Reverend William Curtis Carter leaves to cherish his memories three brothers – Lawrence Carter, Sr. (wife Gloria) of Leasburg, North Carolina, Ronald Carter (wife Annetta) of Clayton, North Carolina and James Carter (wife Mable) of Ringgold, Virginia; four sisters – Jean Carter of Milton, North Carolina, Janetta Scates of Surprise, Arizona, Reverend Janice Cash of Roxboro, North Carolina and Joycelet Groves (husband Charles) of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law Josephine Carter of North Augusta, South Carolina; special cousins Linda West of Charlotte, North Carolina and Petrina McCree of Danville, Virginia; more than 60 nephews and nieces; family friends Stanley Parker, Linda Huey and family, Rashaad Lunsford, and numerous additional relatives and friends.
