Mrs. Marie Hamlett McCain, age 91, departed her Earthly life and entered Eternal Rest on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Marie was born in Virginia on May 1, 1935. She made her residence in Milton, North Carolina.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edward McCain; son Thomas Edward McCain, Jr.; mother Lois Pyles Hamlett Littleton; sister Elnora Crutchfield; and five brothers.
Mrs. Marie Hamlett McCain leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Gladys H. Hughes (husband Jerry) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Regenia Stewart (husband Quenten) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; one brother – Melvin Hamlett (wife Sharone) of Milton, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
