Geneva Clayton Petty, age 70, of 2157 East Hyco Road in South Boston, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016  at her home.

Geneva Clayton Petty was a member of the Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was the president of the Missionary Circle, and a member of the Spiritual Choir, and the Culinary Committee. Geneva Clayton Petty is survived by two sons -- Steven J. Petty (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stanley K. Petty of South Boston, Virginia.  She is also survived by her brother, Ulysses Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law -- Aldean Petty of Florida; Barbara Petty of Washington, DC and Frances Petty of Michigan.; and two grandchildren – Cinzia A. Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stavanna A Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.

Annie Beatrice Russell, age 71, of 412 Lee Chambers Road in Roxboro, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Annie Beatrice Russell is survived by one son, Alonzo Russell (wife Deana) of Roxboro, North Carolina; two grandchildren—Zoe Russell and Ian Russell; five brothers--Willie Torain (wife Marie) of Portsmouth, Virginia; Anthony Carl Russell (wife Tina) of Vaux Hall, New Jersey; Haywood 'Bo' Russell (wife Kaye) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Joseph Russell (wife Linda-LeMay) of Timberlake, North Carolina; and Ronnie Russell (wife Roxie) of Roxboro, North Carolina; and one sister Debra Haugabrook of Orlando, Florida.  

She is also survived by a host of additional relatives and friends.
