Mrs. Barbara Jean Fuller Blaine, age 88, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
Mrs. Blaine was born to the late Robert “Pete” Fuller and the late Betty Burton Fuller. At an early age, she joined Saint James Baptist Church in Leasburg, North Carolina and was a member of the Senior Choir. She was a graduate of Person County High School, “Class of 1955”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Preacher” Blaine and her son Bobby Blaine.
Mrs. Barbara Jean Fuller Blaine leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons James Blaine (spouse - Elizer) of Roxboro, North Carolina; Charles Blaine (spouse - Sandra) of Burlington, North Carolina; Clarence “Heavy” Blaine of Roxboro, North Carolina; Lorenzo Blaine of Charlotte, North Carolina; and her “Bonus Son” James Winstead (spouse - Wanda) of Durham, North Carolina; brother Robert “Head” Fuller (spouse - Mary Catherine Pettiford) of Roxboro, North Carolina; former sister-in-law Pauline Winstead of Roxboro, North Carolina; foster brothers Donald Richmond (spouse - Shirley) of Baltimore, Maryland and Reverend Larry Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina; special cousin/sister Joyce Moore of Burlington, North Carolina; special cousins/brothers Bennie Richmond and Dennis Richmond (spouse Darlene), both of Burlington, North Carolina; foster sister Mary Winstead of Roxboro, North Carolina; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
