​Mr. Hugh Thomas Johnson, age 76, of 2028 Cedar Grove Church Road in Roxboro, North Carolina departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro. He was a dedicated trustee and member of Greater Deliverance Tabernacle Church in Roxboro.

Mr. Hugh Thomas Johnson was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Ruth Hester Johnson. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Brooks Johnson of the home; three sons Anthony Wilkerson, Kevin Tuck and Kennard Richmond all of Roxboro, North Carolina; one sister Katie Cates and one brother Victor “Junior” Johnson, Jr. (wife Linell) all of Roxboro, North Carolina; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
