Mrs. Laura Link Wade, age 85, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Duke Medicine Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina.
She was a native of Person County, born on April 30, 1938 and was a member of Prospect Hill Baptist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Wilson and Carrie Link McGhee; husband Jessie Louis Wade, Sr.; daughter Dianne Reed; and sons Jessie Wade, Jr. and James “Pete” Wade.
Mrs. Laura Link Wade leaves to cherish precious memories her daughters Linda Johnson, Regina Richardson, Carrie Wade Downey, Laverne Wade and Laurie Wade; son Cecil Wade; sister Yvone Wise; brother Martin McGhee (Shelia); and a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews additional relatives and friends.
