Geneva Clayton Petty, age 70, of 2157 East Hyco Road in South Boston, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home.

Geneva Clayton Petty was a member of the Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was the president of the Missionary Circle, and a member of the Spiritual Choir, and the Culinary Committee. Geneva Clayton Petty is survived by two sons -- Steven J. Petty (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stanley K. Petty of South Boston, Virginia. She is also survived by her brother, Ulysses Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law -- Aldean Petty of Florida; Barbara Petty of Washington, DC and Frances Petty of Michigan.; and two grandchildren – Cinzia A. Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stavanna A Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.

Mrs. Debra Russell Haugabrook-Briggs, age 62, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.

Debra Russell Haugabrook-Briggs was a 1974 graduate of Person Senior High School. In 1978, she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Appalachian State University. In 2001, she received a Masters Degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix.

Debra Russell Haugabrook-Briggs is survived by two children – Amanda Haugabrook and David Haugabrook II; and five brothers -- Joseph Russell, Ronnie Russell, Haywood Russell, Anthony Russell Sr, and Willie J. Torain in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.
