​Ms. Ruby Maxene Brandon, age 79, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She was born in Halifax, Virginia but made her home in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Mrs. Brandon was a member of New Ephesus Baptist Church in Semora, North Carolina and also attended church at Person County Group Homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy Brandon and Alice Glass Brandon; three sisters Mary Ann Royster, Rejoyce Woody and Marie Barnett; and two brothers Earlie Brandon and Leroy Brandon.

Ms. Brandon is survived by one sister Jennie Brandon of Roxboro, North Carolina; one special niece Betty Kernodle (husband Rontae) of Semora, North Carolina; one special nephew David Williams of New York; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
