Mrs. Pearline Wheeler Leary, affectionally known to her family and friends as “Puss”, “Cuzzn Pete” and infamously “Aunt Puss”, age 58, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.
She was born in Paterson, New Jersey on October 16, 1964 to the late Reverend Lucious Wheeler and the late Mary Ruth Brown. At an early age, she joined Christian Tabernacle in Paterson, New Jersey and later became a member of Zion Christian Center in Roxboro, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Steven Brown.
Pearline leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Milton Leary of the home; son Khalif Livingston of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers: Samuel Brown (Jackie) of Newark, New Jersey; Bobby Wheeler of Raleigh, North Carolina; Kenneth Wheeler (Dee) of Durham, North Carolina; Jessie Brown (Tosha) of Roxboro, North Carolina; Bernell Wheeler of Olanta, South Carolina; Otis Wheeler (Janie) of Florence, South Carolina; and Ceasar Wheeler (Mary) of Lake City, South Carolina; grandchild Zoíe Livingston of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
