Geneva Clayton Petty, age 70, of 2157 East Hyco Road in South Boston, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home.
Geneva Clayton Petty was a member of the Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was the president of the Missionary Circle, and a member of the Spiritual Choir, and the Culinary Committee. Geneva Clayton Petty is survived by two sons -- Steven J. Petty (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stanley K. Petty of South Boston, Virginia. She is also survived by her brother, Ulysses Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law -- Aldean Petty of Florida; Barbara Petty of Washington, DC and Frances Petty of Michigan.; and two grandchildren – Cinzia A. Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stavanna A Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.

Mr. Ronnie James “Pete” Blackwell is survived by his loving wife, Elvin Yarbough Blackwell of the home; one son, Rodney Dion Blackwell (wife Jamila) of Holly Springs; two brothers, Tyrone Carver Blackwell (wife Josephine) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Andrew Clifton Blackwell (wife Dorthea) of Roxboro, North Carolina; three sisters, Sylvia Ann Ross of Durham, North Carolina, Carlese Vinson (husband Wayne) of Woodland, North Carolina, and Celia Mae Wilson (husband Randy) of Roxboro, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Corey Alexander Blackwell, Calil Alijah Blackwell, Carim Ahmad Blackwell, and Caleb Amare Blackwell; one aunt, Delores Driver of Dallas, Texas; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
