Mr. James Reed Williams, Sr., age 84, of Roxboro, North Carolina entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Canterbury House in Roxboro, North Carolina. He was born in Person County to the union of the late Isaiah Brown and the late Ada Sue Williams Winstead.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by two brothers Danny Winstead and Oscar Winstead.Mr. James Reed Williams, Sr. is survived by two daughters Michelle Elaine Del Valle of Pikesville, Maryland and Dionne Ladell Williams of Baltimore, Maryland; one son James Reed Williams, Jr. of Orlando, Florida; five sisters Nancy Canada, Katie Wade, Dorothy Lawson, Brenda McNair and Janice Blackwell (husband Marcus) all of Roxboro, North Carolina; two brothers Bobby Winstead of Franklinton, North Carolina and Donald Winstead (wife Elaine) of Roxboro, North Carolina; favorite niece Linda Winstead of Roxboro, North Carolina; love of his life Peggy Stewart of Roxboro, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional family and friends.
