​Mr. Cecil Calvin Walton, age 64, passed away on February 3, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia and resided in Semora, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Calvin Walton and Lelia Featherstone Walton. He is survived by his wife Gloria Thorpe of Semora, North Carolina; one son Shermaine Farmer of North Carolina; three sisters Gladys Henderson (Moses) and Ann Medley both of Danville, Virginia and Verdale Walton (Archie) of Alton Virginia; four brothers Floyd Featherstone, Joseph Featherstone (Sarah), Earl Walton (Gloria) all of South Boston, Virginia and David Walton (Doris) of Alton, Virginia; two aunts Dorothy Featherstone of South Boston, Virginia and Fannie Medley of Alton, Virginia; two uncles Charlie Walton of South Boston, Virginia and Henry Yancey of Alton, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
