Evangelist Mozel Perkins Walker, age 81, a native of Roxboro, North Carolina entered eternal rest on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Mahaley Barnette Winstead; husband Bishop Joseph Perkins, Sr. She later married Willie O. Walker, who preceded her in death along with daughter Emmie Sarah Perkins; three brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her daughters: Rita Crew (husband Donald) of Williamsburg, Virginia; Brenda Dixon of Midland, Georgia; Reverend Paula Eubanks (husband Joseph) of Roxboro, North Carolina; Evangelist Mary Knighten of Henderson, North Carolina; Ruth Perkins of Atlanta, Georgia; and Katherine Perkins of Roxboro, North Carolina; her sons: Minister Joseph Daniel Perkins, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina and David Richard Perkins of Charlotte, North Carolina; her sisters: Minister Ernestine Jay of Roxboro, North Carolina and Dorothy Winstead Lewis of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by Khamari and Kamryn Sanford of Roxboro, North Carolina and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
