Mr. Rayshon Leonardo Long, age 23, of Roxboro, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Mebane, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Ray Long.

He is survived by his father Roy Pettiford; three sisters Sakita Long of Burlington, North Carolina, Tamika Moore of Mebane, North Carolina, and Shamika Noel of Durham, North Carolina; one brother Charmel Long of Greensboro, North Carolina; five uncles Cordice Darnell Pettiford of Mebane, North Carolina; Stanley Pettiford of Cedar Grove, North Carolina; Floyd “Bunk” Long, Jerry Long and Jessie Long all of Hurdle mills, North Carolina; Six aunts Linda Bigelow of Green Level, North Carolina, Sharon Poole and Nancy Pettiford of Burlington, North Carolina; Noel McGhee of Hillsborough, North Carolina; Mozelle Long of Roxboro, North Carolina and Eunice Mae Long of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; one nephew Yeshaun Robinson of Siler City, North Carolina; two nieces Sa’Yanni Gary and Dy’nika Satterfield of Burlington, North Carolina; three great nieces; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
