​    Staff Sergeant James Louis Ramsey, Jr., age 64, of Roxboro, North Carolina departed his life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Durham VA Healthcare System in Durham, North Carolina. 

    He was preceded in death by his father James Louis Ramsey, Sr.; and two brothers Glen Earl Ramsey and Willie Lee Ramsey.

    Staff Sergeant Ramsey is survived by two sons Damond Ramsey of Baltimore, Maryland and Jehdon Ramsey of Durham, North Carolina; his mother Margaret Jeffries Ramsey of Roxboro, North Carolina; one sister Beverly Ramsey of Roxboro, North Carolina; one grandson Torhi Parker of Raleigh, North Carolina; three great-grandchildren; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
