Mrs. Vastine Woody Newman, age 74, of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at her home.
Vastine Woody Newman is survived by two children – Al Tracey Woody of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina and Amy Victoria Winstead of Durham, NC; three sisters – Peggy Woody of Mineola, New York; Barbara Leary of Boston, Massachusetts; and Carolyn Woody of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; two brothers – Sylvester Daye (wife Jean) of Baltimore, Maryland; and Wayne Woody (wife Audrey) of Stone Mountain, Georgia. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of additional relatives and friends.
