Geneva Clayton Petty, age 70, of 2157 East Hyco Road in South Boston, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home.
Geneva Clayton Petty was a member of the Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was the president of the Missionary Circle, and a member of the Spiritual Choir, and the Culinary Committee. Geneva Clayton Petty is survived by two sons -- Steven J. Petty (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stanley K. Petty of South Boston, Virginia. She is also survived by her brother, Ulysses Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law -- Aldean Petty of Florida; Barbara Petty of Washington, DC and Frances Petty of Michigan.; and two grandchildren – Cinzia A. Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stavanna A Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.

Mrs. Geraldine Smith Nash, age 80, of 1157 Hurdle Mills Road in Roxboro, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Geraldine Smith Nash is survived by four children – Timothy Smith (wife Angela) of Detroit, Michigan; Alfreda Smith of Detroit, Michigan; Janette Smith Johnson of Roxboro, North Carolina and Darrell Smith of Detroit, Michigan. She is also survived by two brothers – Fred Smith of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Meryl Smith of Stockville, Mississippi. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a host of additional relatives and friends.
