Mrs. Anne Rene Smith Morgan, age 84, of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, passed away in her home on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was a native of Semora, North Carolina and was born to the union of the late Wilson B. and the late Ruby Cunningham Smith. She was educated in the Person County Schools system and continued her education at the Philadelphia Practical School of Nursing in Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her son Barry Wayne Morgan, two brothers Willie and Walter Smith, and three sisters, Rosabelle McCain, Mary Wade and Delia Thomas.

She is survived by two brothers Joe and Charlie Smith and two sisters Lillie Beckwith and Rebecca Brandon all of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one grandson; three grand-daughters and five great grandchildren.
