Geneva Clayton Petty, age 70, of 2157 East Hyco Road in South Boston, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016  at her home.

Geneva Clayton Petty was a member of the Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was the president of the Missionary Circle, and a member of the Spiritual Choir, and the Culinary Committee. Geneva Clayton Petty is survived by two sons -- Steven J. Petty (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stanley K. Petty of South Boston, Virginia.  She is also survived by her brother, Ulysses Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law -- Aldean Petty of Florida; Barbara Petty of Washington, DC and Frances Petty of Michigan.; and two grandchildren – Cinzia A. Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stavanna A Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.

Mr. Frederick Earl Lunsford, Sr., age 52, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.  

Frederick Earl Lunsford, Sr. is survived by his wife, Robin Parrish - Lunsford of the home; three daughters, Latasha Parrish (spouse Patrick Poteat), Donna Lunsford, and Dasia Lunsford, all of Roxboro, North Carolina; one son, Frederick Lunsford, Jr.; Mother, Elsie Street of Roxboro, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Tristian Poteat and Taylor Lunsford; three brothers, William Street, Maurice Lunsford, and Earl Lunsford, all of Roxboro, North Carolina; Three sisters, Jennifer Lunsford of Roxboro, North Carolina, Tina Lunsford and Linda Scott of Durham, North Carolina; Five uncles, Willie Lunsford (Wife Sue), James Lunsford (Wife Doris), Jeff L. Street (Wife Deborah), and Jessie Street, Jr. all of Roxboro, North Carolina, and J.D. Ray of Connecticut; Five aunts, Queenie Smith (Husband Lorenzo), Mable Pettiford and Minnie Pearl Street, all of Roxboro, North Carolina, and Patricia Thompson (Husband Clarence) and Virginia D. Street, of Newark, New Jersey; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
