Geneva Clayton Petty, age 70, of 2157 East Hyco Road in South Boston, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016  at her home.

Geneva Clayton Petty was a member of the Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was the president of the Missionary Circle, and a member of the Spiritual Choir, and the Culinary Committee. Geneva Clayton Petty is survived by two sons -- Steven J. Petty (wife Cynthia) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stanley K. Petty of South Boston, Virginia.  She is also survived by her brother, Ulysses Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law -- Aldean Petty of Florida; Barbara Petty of Washington, DC and Frances Petty of Michigan.; and two grandchildren – Cinzia A. Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina and Stavanna A Petty of Roxboro, North Carolina in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.

Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Austin Roosevelt Lee Sr. is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Bessie Jay Lee; two daughters, Helen Lee Johnson (Willie) of Roxboro and Paula Anita Lee of Timberlake; two sons, Austin R. Lee, Jr. of Roxboro and Patrick Todd Lee (Greg) of St. Petersburg, Florida; four grandchildren, Taylor Olivia Lee of Rougemont, Lillian Frances Johnson of Greensboro, Paige Austin Lee of Timberlake, and Jerrick Richmond (Daijah) of Durham; one great granddaughter Casey A. Richmond of Durham; one uncle, Sherman Lea of Roxboro; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
