Missouri Forlene Newman Lea, age 77, of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her home.
Missouri Forlene Newman Lea is survived by seven children – Priscilla Gregory (husband Jessie) of Durham, North Carolina; Cynthia Lea of Blanch, North Carolina; Irma Whitted (husband Gary) of Texas; Sheila Lea of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; Silas Lea of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; Derrick Lea (wife Candace) of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; and Pamela Lewis (husband Ricky) of Hillsboro, North Carolina; two sisters – Carolyn Bass (husband James) of Durham, NC; and Corrine Ray (husband Melvin) of Roxboro, North Carolina. Missouri Lea is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of additional relatives and friends.
