​Mr. Steven Eugene Harris, age 60, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. He was a native of Person County and a proud member of the “Person Senior High School Class of 1979”.

He was preceded in death by his parents Deloyd Harris and Gracie Mae Woody Harris and niece LaVida Ximines.

Mr. Steven Eugene Harris is survived by three sisters Shelby Harris Blackwell of Semora, North Carolina; Sheryl Harris Ximines (husband Vincent) of Wake Forest, North Carolina; and Mae Lois Harris of Roxboro, North Carolina; two aunts Barbara Leary of Boston, Massachusetts and Carolyn Woody of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; two uncles Silvesta Daye (wife Jean) of Baltimore, Maryland and Wayne Woody (wife Audrey) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; two nephews Deloyd Blackwell of Semora, North Carolina and Franklin Tate of Roxboro, North Carolina; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
