​Mrs. Eva Johnson Harris (Frances), age 80, entered eternal rest on February 17, 2020 at Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina. She was a 1957 graduate of Person County High School, attended Winston Salem State University and was employed by the Person County School System for more than 36 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years James Richard Harris.

She is survived by a daughter Deborah Woodard (husband Wayne); son Sean Harris; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her loving sister and confidante Josephine Wyrick; other siblings Earline Snipes, Geraldine Snipes, Kathy Johnson, Sherry Johnson, Lonnie Cooper, Roy Johnson, William Johnson and Israel Johnson; Goddaughter Amy Pettiford; special friend David Johnson; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
