Earl Lewis Hamlett, Sr, age 74, of 858 Lee Chambers Road in Roxboro, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Earl Lewis Hamlett, Sr is survived by eight children – Gordon Hamlett (wife Marchenia) of Roxboro, NC; Angelia Hamlett Thompson (husband Marcus) of Mebane, NC; Laura Royster (husband Bobby) of Roxboro, NC; Earl Lewis Hamlett of Roxboro, NC; Helen Street of Greensboro, NC; Stella Thaxton (husband Owen) of Milton, NC; Sandra Hamlett of Roxboro, NC; and Jackie Hamlett of Durham, NC; two sisters – Shirley Hamlett of Roxboro, NC and Edna Hamlett Royster of Semora, NC. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren in addition to a host of additional relatives and friends.
