Barbara Jean Stanfield Hamlett, age 74, passed away at her residence on December 2, 2015. Barbara Jean Stanfield Hamlett is survived by 8 children – Rev. Gordon Anthony Hamlett (wife Marchenia) of Roxboro; Angela Hamlett Thompson (husband Marcus) of Caswell County; Laura Royster (husband Bobby) of Roxboro, NC; Earl L. Hamlett, Jr of Roxboro, NC; Helen H. Street of Greensboro, NC; Stella Thaxton (husband Owen) of Milton, NC; Sandra Hamlett of Roxboro, NC; and Jackie Hamlett of Durham, NC.
Barbara Hamlett is also survived by three sisters – Sallie S. Harris (husband Junious), Peggie S. Oliver (husband Joseph), and Mary Louise Stanfield. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
